About

Inzichtwerk means work driven by insight — inzicht is Dutch for insight, werk for work. The name is the method: understanding comes before deciding, and deciding comes before designing.

The practice sits at the intersection of business consultancy, UX and behavioural research, and accessibility. Those three are usually handled by separate specialists who rarely compare notes. Inzichtwerk treats them as one question asked from three angles: what is actually happening, why, and what should change because of it.

Business thinking without behavioural evidence produces strategies nobody's behaviour supports. Behavioural research without a business question produces insight nobody acts on. And an experience redesigned without accessibility in view improves things for some people at the expense of others. Held together, the three correct for each other.

The approach is evidence-based: every recommendation traces back to research or data that can be inspected, not to a template or a trend. And it's practical — the work doesn't stop at a report or a set of slides, but at a decision someone can actually make.

Accessibility runs through all of it, not as a separate offering bolted on at the end. A better experience should work for more people, not just the average user measured in a typical study.
